Plants, Pictures, and Information

              - all about the Genus Daphne

Daphne - Seidelbast
Beautiful Plants for the
Charming Garden

Daphne limprichtii  Winkler (1922)

native to SW-China / grows between dry rocks on higher altitudes / small Daphne ~ up to 0.25 m / evergreen / red fruits /

reminds to a very small Daphne tangutica /

in my case, the most difficult Daphne I have ever grown; Daphne limprichtii needs really dry conditions;

very susceptible to fungal infections; the right picture shows a three year old plant; the last one of forty seedlings
